If you have a British Passport, there have been some changes regarding the validity of a British Passport when travelling to and within the European Union.
To make sure that you have everything in place regarding your passport in plenty of time before your holiday, please check the following:
1 - Check your passports issue date and expiry date
2 - Your British Passport must be issued less than 10 years before the date that you enter your destination country. This means the "date of issue" must be less than ten years ago.
3 - Your British Passport must be valid for at least three months after the day you plan to leave (so please check the ‘date of expiry’).
You can find the passport validity rules for the country you’re visiting by checking the FCDO’s advice and reading the entry requirements section: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice
Please be aware that it is your responsibility to make sure that your travel documents are in order for the country or countries that you are travelling to.
If you are travelling on a passport other than a British Passport, please check with the issuing authority as to the requirements in terms of validity and relevant visas.
Just You is unable to accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport/entry/immigration requirements.
